The boys played in the PG Easter One Day Showdown (AAA).

Tough weekend… well, Saturday, for us. They battled some really great teams, a 1 or 2 hour rain delay, and competed the entire day. We got to talk about the tiny details inside the game that you don’t see unless you search for them, and nothing beats rain delay tic-tac-toe. (We won in tic-tac-toe, 1-0-1 by the way😂) We still have a lot of work to do, but a lot to be proud of. Keep grinding boys!

By the numbers:
- Hitting:
• #27 Fernando Fausto led the team in every hitting category Saturday. Fernando was on fire hitting a .600 AVG, .667 OBP, 1.267 OPS, .600 SLG, and had the most hits.
• #10 Logan Bernard led the team in walks.
• #2 Brock Hoedel led the team in doubles

- Pitching:
• #27 Fernando Fausto pitch a no-hitter in bracket play while only giving up 3 runs.
• #11 Bethel Aguries led all pitching with a 70% strike percentage
• #11 Bethel Aguries and #22 A***n Becerra tied to lead all pitchers in first pitch strike percentage with 67%.
• #22 A***n Becerra led all pitcher in whiff rate.

- Defense:
4 players led the team in fielding percentage:

Congrats are in order for our baseball little bros on the 8U team today.

We had the pleasure of watching them ball out yesterday before and after our games. They made it to the championship in their bracket last night.

And we hope we fired yall up last night when we came to watch you play! Keep balling boys!!

Thank you to the players for singing happy birthday to me, and moms that surprised me after practice (and the boys) with cupcakes! Yall are awesome!!! My kids told me to thank yall for the left over cupcakes I took home 😂

The boys battled all weekend and played some really good baseball against some really good teams.

4 1/3 innings, allowing 0 earned runs on 4 hits and striking out 2. The opponents batting avg against him was a low .235 and he also picked off 2 at 1st when they were a couple steps off the bag.

- #11 Bethel Aguries pitched lights out Saturday
2 2/3 inning in 2 games, allowing 0 earned runs on 1 hit and striking out 5. The opponents batting avg against him was a low .125
