OUR DATES ARE SET!
We kick off with our spring youth clinic and our first event March 16th. the clinic start at 12pm. the Rodeo starts at 5pm. All events are at the Waller County Fairgounds, 22000 Fairground Rd, Hempstead, TX 77445.
Dates are:
March 16th 5pm
June 22nd, 630pm
July 20th 7pm
August 24th 7pm
Events: Mutton Busting, Mini Ba****ck, Mini Broncs, Calves, Steer, Ba****ck, Bronc ,and Bull Riding.
Ages:
6 and under Mutton Busting
10 and under PeeWee for Elementary aged kids.
11 to 14 for Junior High Aged kids
15 to 18 for High School ages
(As of September 1st to match school year)

To any wanting to learn to ride bucking horses. We practice weekly at the house . We go over everything, we will help you to start entering rodeos that won’t kill you off. Bucking machine work. Come train. All ages! Bellville Tx every Sunday at 1pm. Find a way to get here.

We are going to have a huge practice Saturday at 1pm to all that want to come. Come for Rigging Talk, Bucking Machine, or just to fix something in your riding. We will go for about 3 hours so Bring it.

We had our first school in 2007 as we saw numbers of contestants plummet and decided something needed to happen, hence we started our Free Ba****ck Riding School open to all. Over the 16 years we have had some awesome kids and students that have rolled through the Cannon Ba****ck School. Multiple guys that went NFRs, Multiple Rookies of the Year, College Champions, Mexican Champions, European Champions, Hundreds of Future PRCA card holds. It's awesome seeing guys at the NFR knowing you put them on some of their first ever Ba****ck Horses. It's been a great run but we have decided to stop doing the schools this year. We will miss it but time and effort (money to) it takes to put on just isn't there for us anymore, and are going to repurpose are attention on practices at the house. We thank everyone over the years who came to ride, who volunteered, who taught. Especial thanks to Jeremy Willis who donated so much time to picking up for decades for us, never asking anything in return yet always found ways to break some kind of bone here. We have some awesome memories of so much from each and every class of students we had. So from Kirby, Clint, Jay, Summer and the entire Cannon Family thanks for becoming Ba****ck Riders. Long Live Cowboys!

Awesome wilderness rides we are now offering.

This country horseback riding experience offers a Texas style adventure on a 300 acre property located in Waller, TX. Enjoy a peaceful guided ride along the trails and then end at the campfire.

It’s that time of year again. We are now accepting students to our April 2024 Cannon Ba****ck Clinic. We will take a total of 15 students. Message the page for an application. It will be back in Hempstead Texas again in the brand new Mustang Cat Arena. Come and get better with the best teachers ever.
