AAU Parents,

If you plan for your child to participate in our Summer AAU program, I strongly encourage you to register them for WYBL this spring. Playing together early helps the kids build chemistry and gives our coaches real‑time evaluations as we select the final 10‑player roster for each team.

Kids chosen for AAU will not need to attend tryouts and will receive a discount for the summer season.

We are participating in the AAU circuit in Houston this year. Our 6 weeks of practices and games will fully prepare the kids for the level of competition they’ll face this summer.

AAU runs June through August, and I will have the full game schedule available at the beginning of May.

Our location is still TBD, but you can register right now, and payment will be due by April 18th.

Secure your child’s spot early uniforms, practices, games, and the full season are all included.

To Our William Evans Sports Center Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I share that William Evans Sports Center will be closing its doors effective today.

Opening this gym was a dream come true for me. I wanted to create a place where our local kids could train, grow, and discover their potential in volleyball, soccer, and basketball. Seeing them walk through our doors with excitement, determination, and joy has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

From the beginning, I also hoped to provide opportunities for young coaches to learn, develop, and gain experience. While many embraced that opportunity with passion and integrity, others unfortunately took advantage of it, and over time it affected the growth and sustainability of the center. This has been a difficult reality to face, but it does not take away from the incredible moments we shared or the impact we made together.

To all the coaches, trainers, parents, and athletes who supported us over the past year and a half thank you. Your dedication, your energy, and your belief in this mission meant everything. I am truly grateful for every practice, every game, every late night, and every encouraging word that helped build this community.

Although our doors are closing, the memories, the lessons, and the relationships will stay with me forever. Thank you for allowing me to live my dream and for being part of this journey.

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to coach my high school girls this summer and work with them one-on-one during the offseason. Watching each of them grow, grind, and give it their all has been nothing short of inspiring.
