Friday, October 11th, 4 - 6
@ Walla Walla Community College, 500 Tausick Way
AND
Saturday, October 12, 7 - 8:30am

Race start times:

Half Marathon: 9:00 am
10K: 9:05
Heroes 5K Fun Run: 9:10 am.

The 10K and Half Marathon courses are the same as last year with one minor change on the Half Marathon course. The courses will be clearly marked. A portion of the Half Marathon course crosses private property on Russell Creek Rd. and is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC either before or after race day. Please respect this since we need their cooperation to use this route in the future.

ONIONMAN ** NEW RACE START TIME **
8:30am - Saturday, May 18, 2024

ONIONMAN PACKET PICK UP & RACE SCHEDULE:

FRIDAY, May 17, 2024: Packet pickup 4-6pm at Bicycle Barn (*please pick up on Friday if you are able) 1503 E Isaacs Ave., Walla Walla

SATURDAY, May 18, 2024: 6:45 - 7:45am packet pickup at Bennington Lake, 3211 Reservoir Rd

Mandatory pre-race briefing 8:00am at transition

RACE START:

8:30am race start!
Swim waves: The 1st WAVE will be the competitive/elite field followed by all others in 4 separate waves. Assigned swim caps will coordinate with swim waves.


PARKING:

Parking is limited at Bennington Lake. Early arrivals will park in the main parking area and over flow parking will be on the Bennington Lake dam, a short walk to the transition area. DO NOT WALK DOWN THE ROCKS ON THE DAM as you could be DQ'd. Spectators need to show up early to park in the main parking lot, or plan on walking to the event site from either Rooks Park or the Core of Engineers project office parking area.

ACCESS:

The access road to Bennington Lake will be closed by 8:30am and no traffic will be allowed to enter until the majority of the bicycles have exited the transition area at approximately 10:00am.

Current water temp: 58 degrees - the lake temperature can fluctuate A LOT in the matter of days and will likely be in the mid 60's come race day (but don't hold me to that). A temperature update will be sent race week.
