Walkerton Parks Walkerton Parks include Scarbrough Park with 4 baseball/softball diamonds, playground, splash pad and 2 picnic pavilions and Walking trails through the woods.

Visit Soccer Plex and Place Park also! Our parks have a wide range of activities for everyone. Scarbrough Park has our Baseball and Softball Leagues on 4 different fields. Also at Scarbrough, is our famous Splash Pad with over 10 water features, a HUGE playground, walking trails, picnic facilities with two pavilions, and sand volleyball courts. With plenty of parking, Scarbrough is the place to co

me for family entertainment. Walkerton Parks has Soccer Plex which runs a Spring and Fall soccer leagues. Watch our site for registration information. Place Park, located directly behind Urey Middle School has picnic tables with pavilion, playgrounds and plenty of room to run and roam. All of our parks are open Dawn to Dusk. And remember, ALL of our facilities are TO***CO FREE!

Due to forecasted heat index values exceeding Walkerton Parks safety guidelines, along with expected rain this evening and tomorrow, all Baseball and Softball games and practices scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, and Wednesday, June 10, have been canceled.

We will be rescheduling all games and practices affected.

The safety of our players, coaches, officials, and families remains our top priority. Thank you for your understanding.

2026 IHSAA Softball Regional Champions!!! 1-0 win over Tippecanoe Valley. They will play their first game of the two-game Semi State at 1:00 on Saturday at Twin Lakes High School. Championship at 7:00pm.

Ticks can be THIS TINY 🤯🤯

Even the smallest ticks can cause big problems, having the potential to spread a multitude of diseases to humans. As the weather warms up, you may begin seeing ticks in grassy or wooded areas. Protect yourself by using bug repellent, wearing long sleeves and pants in wooded areas, and checking for ticks after being outside.
