The bug hatches are wrapping up, and the fish have been cooperating despite the recent heatwave. Here are some pictures from the last week out on Leech Lake. I have a couple openings coming up that I would like to fill. Please reach out if you’d like to get out fishing one of these days.

We wrapped up Camp Walleye out of Acorn Hill Resort on Leech Lake a couple weeks ago. This is a week long camp where us at Leech Lake Guide Team LLC provide guided trips and instruction on reading electronics, fish behavior, techniques, and all things walleyes. The dates for next year have been set. Come join us June 12-18 2027!

These are my last open days for the 2025 season. Musky fishing has been great on Leech Lake this year, so these dates will be saved for muskie trips.

Due to some recent cancelations, I have a few days in August I am looking to fill with muskie trips. So far the 2025 muskie season is off to a good start. It is setting up to be a great casting bite this year. A good number of fish have pushed shallow, and it should only get better from here! Feel free to reach out to me on here or give me a call.

Fantastic morning out of Horseshoe Bay Lodge on Leech Lake. A limit of walleyes and a couple more big ones that were thrown back. The warmer and more stable weather has really improved the bite the last few days.
