Flat Shoals Disc Golf will be going on the market in a few weeks.

If you are looking for a 3 BR/2BA home with additions built on, plus a full basement, 4 car garage and barn, and a beautiful course built on almost 8.5 acres, please reach out and we will put you in touch with our realtor.

We have hosted multiple tournaments on the course, and held large potluck gatherings of over 70 people for tournament groups at our annual BBQ tournament. The property is an excellent layout for gathering friends, players and community together.

Those who have played the course over the years (feel free to share your thoughts in comments) have been impressed with the challenging nature of the course. DG professionals have shared that the course was better than they expected for a home built course. The course includes lovely areas with small streams in a beautiful wooded area.

For someone who isn't interested in keeping and maintaining a DG course, the lanes also make wonderful walking paths and could be used effectively for hunting lanes. We have seen many deer and turkeys on the property over the years we have been here.

We have spent years building up a healthy soil microbiome in large raised beds and two large garden plots. While living here, we have grown, processed and preserved (and consumed!) a lot of our own organic food. Established blueberry bushes and an old pear tree produce enormous fruit yields.

A very pet-friendly location, we have 1.5 acres of 5' chain link fenced yard for dogs. This has been one of the benefits we appreciated most, and because most of the garden is inside the fence, we did not have problems with deer getting into the garden where the dogs had access.

A built-in Generac propane generator kept this home powered during the days when power was out after Helene, and starts automatically when the power goes out. There is a double-sided ventless gas fireplace to help heat the main area of the home, as well as an additional ventless gas fireplace with a blower in the added front room on the home. There is a deep well with excellent water and a septic tank, omitting all water & sewer charges and providing plenty of chemical-free water for the gardens.

The roof and skylights on the home were replaced a couple months ago, and the roof on the garage/barn building was replaced in 2022.
