Waldorf Action Martial Arts was established in 1987 to offer the Waldorf Community a quality family environment in which to practice the martial art of Taekwondo. From our pre-school children’s martial arts programs to our adult taekwondo and fitness kickboxing classes, our instructors are dedicated to helping you and/or your family achieve your individual goals. No other activity can provide the

same results as martial arts for each individual participant. We offer:

• Little Dragons classes (for ages 4-6)
• Juniors Karate program (ages 7-13)
• Competition and Weapons training
• After School Karate (transportation provided!) and Summer Karate Camp
• Adult Fitness Classes

Have you got any plans for your child this summer? Or are you going to let them stay home and entertain themselves. Maybe you're considering a babysitter or day care. The question is, “Is your child going to be active and engaged this Summer? Or are they going to be left to their own devices?”

Why not give them an unforgettable experience at our Sport and Karate Summer Camp—where they’ll build confidence, stay active, and have FUN with a group of kids their own age? (We separate the children into different age groups to maximize their fun as well as enabling our counselors to design age- appropriate activities and games!

Our Sport and Karate Summer Camp has been in operation since 2002! We specialize in keeping our kids busy with a variety of activities including Karate lessons, games, competitions, arts and crafts, field trips to parks, swimming pools, and indoor play parks, and much more.

Kids love our camp because it's jam-packed with a variety of fun-filled activities. Parents love it because everything is included in one affordable tuition rate: before care, after care, field trips, arts crafts, and Pizza Party Fridays!

Our counselors Rock! They come back year after year to work during the Summer. The kids love them too (we have many repeat campers year after year who get to know our counselors).

The Headmaster, Deborah Cavanaugh, has developed a well-organized "game plan" over the 20 plus years we have hosting Summer Camps. Her dedication to running an outstanding camp program has been recognized by the Maryland Department of Health Administrator!

We are a full-service, professional martial arts school, family owned and operated since 1987. Our Summer Camp is a MDH (Maryland Department of Health) approved camp. All staff must pass background checks. All staff must be CPR/First Aid Certified.
