✨ JUNE THEME OF THE MONTH ✨

Practice Setting & Honoring Your Boundaries

Our pose of the month is Hanumanasana (Splits Pose)—a reminder that growth doesn't come from forcing. It comes from listening, honoring where you are today, and respecting your limits.

The same is true in life.

Healthy boundaries protect our energy, preserve our peace, and help us remain aligned with what matters most. Every time we honor a boundary, we choose self-respect over people-pleasing and peace over overwhelm.

Some moments are meant to be captured… and some are meant to be fully lived. 💚

That’s why I didn’t post every day while we were in Greece for our Shabach Yoga & Culture Retreat (May 11–18). I chose presence over posting.

Over eight beautiful days in Crete and Santorini, we slowed down. We breathed deeply. We sailed on a catamaran under endless blue skies, hiked five miles across Santorini from one end of the island to the other, wandered through historic site and hidden corners, lit candles in tiny chapels, laughed, rested, and simply allowed ourselves to be.

The memories are now coming home with us — and I’m excited to finally share pieces of this journey with you.

And if your soul is craving something different… our next journey is waiting.

September 20–27 we head to Costa Rica for the Saged + Saved™ Sisters Healing Retreat — a very different experience intentionally created for women ready to do healing work, release emotional wounds, and create space for restoration and renewal.

Because sometimes travel is about seeing the world… and sometimes it’s about finding yourself again.

Day 1.5 in Crete 🇬🇷✨

This morning began the way our days should begin… grounded in breath, movement, gratitude, and community on the mat. After yoga, we stepped into the heart of Cretan culture with a traditional Greek cooking class where we learned to prepare authentic local dishes using fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and recipes passed down through generations.

There is something deeply healing about gathering around a table, creating with your hands, sharing stories, laughing loudly, and then sitting together to enjoy the fruits of your labor. 💙

From the yoga mat to the kitchen table, today reminded us that nourishment comes in many forms.

Crete, you are already teaching us so much.

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared here, but I wanted to bring something meaningful back to our community.

Earlier this year, I began offering weekly journal prompts to the Shabach Yoga community as a way to support healing and reflection off the mat.

The goal is to offer weekly prompts every Monday throughout the year—small moments of reflection that can help us notice what we’re holding onto and what we may be ready to release.

Here are the first two prompts.

What is something you may be ready to release—even if you’re not quite sure how to let it go yet?

What story have you been telling yourself that may be preventing you from manifesting your dreams?

Take a few quiet minutes today and write what comes.
