As the season High school and travel season gets close it’s best to keep your skills up and prepare for what can be an exciting season.

It’s called development. You create a focus and an environment where you look for consistency, progress and fundamentals. You create a culture.

2023: No experience. A lot of headaches. Frustration.

2024: 1 Full year of experience. Accountability. Offensive drives into scoring territory. Confidence. Creativity. The drive to win the rep. Eagerness to watch game film.

Same Tournament. Different team.

Maybe it didn’t pan out like we wanted but these girls did a total 180 from last year. Proud of these girls.

As we keep battling versus teams of higher talent we are figuring out ways to score and defend. We can then soon bring the .girlsflagfootball to become a powerhouse for years to come. The Vision.

“I Can Do This All Day”

8-0.
First Undefeated VC JV Football Team.
First POC VC JV Football Head Coach.
First Season as JV Head Coach.
Beat Monroe and NFA in the same season.
Never trailed in any game.
Never gave up a QB sack (we were close!)
Lost players due to injury, academics, and being pulled up to Varsity.

This group worked since July, 3 days a week during their summer 700-900AM up until the season started. The mission was simple: beat everyone.

I almost left the program until my former Varsity coaches asked me to be their Head Coach. I was honored and had to oblige. The amount of support, knowledge, and humility, and respect they showed me was unmatched. I made a lot of rookie mistakes, but they had my back and showed me the way.

This team bought my love of football back.

Energy. Effort. Ex*****on.

Learned a lot. Tried a lot. Grateful for a lot. These types of teams help me keep perspective.

Proud of the way these girls look at what’s ahead and still keep playing despite adversity. Thank you for helping us get into this event. Thanks and for letting us compete in today’s festivities.

These young ladies have great fight in them. And I promise you, we will be back stronger.
