**UPDATE**

The past few seasons East Coast Charters had to navigate a few changes that greatly reduced the number of charter requests we were able to accommodate.

We are excited to announce that we are back up and running full steam and are now booking for the 2024 season with Capt Max Dispoto () taking point for the operation offering: Inshore, Block Island Trophy Striped Bass, Giant Bluefin Tuna, Jig and Pop Tuna, NE Canyons, Daytime Swordfishing, and more. Capt. Jack will still be joining some trips Max will be running, as well as have availability for a limited number of bookings.

Reach out here or through the website (link in bio) to get on the calendar for this season.

If one wasn’t placed directly in my hands, I might have missed the opportunity to get to experience these little wonders. Pick up one of these up with your own hands the next time your at your local shop, turn the handle, advance the drag, engage the clicker and rotate the spool. You won’t believe the combination rugged performance and affordable pricing these new SpeedMasters have to offer.

Live-lining or power bumping Menhaden, Bottom Fishing flats or structure, Flatline Trolling, even casting or pitching baits. You’ll feel what I mean!

Sleek and functional design paired beautifully with the unrelenting power that offshore anglers demand from their conventional gear.

Shimano SpeedMaster II two-speed lever drag reels are built upon a rigid HAGANE Body to reduce flexing when winching giant creatures from the deep blue.

Thought I’d share this From a 50/50 business pleasure run to S.C. Landed this guy on a little Shimano North America Fishing Sustain 3000 as a target of opportunity while targeting sheepshead with my brother Adam. Redfish are a such a cool fish, I love how many different techniques you can employ to target them and the variety of habitats they can be found in open water offshore, heavy surf and tidal backwater. Then you can choose to target them down and dirty with fresh caught bait, or get more technical with artificial on fly.

They pull like hell on the right tackle and have a handsome appearance that you can't help but appreciate when you have one in your hands!

That species and their presence to that low country community of anglers is parallel in its value to the Striped Bass of my home waters!

Redfish have most certainly earned their place on my list as a species that every dedicated angler should experience. I'm anxious to get in on a running of the bulls at some point with the potential for a topwater strike next. It’s beautiful in the low county lots of Spanish moss hanging from live oaks and large pine species and the area is rich with fossils and artifacts ranging from before the Cretaceous period to the civil war and beyond. I was fortunate to do pretty well down there with only one day to explore for them.

Fun video still from the best bass day of the year this year, the big guy Anthony Renzi and I had the entire bay to ourselves this day in June for a nice change and we couldn’t get away from them from making bait to casting artificial and all through the tide phases they just wanted to kill s #*t that day 😅. Have to admit the older I get and longer I’ve played the game. It’s the simpler less pressured days that often turn out to be the best for soul. To often money, likes or peoples opinions of how we should be doing things can completely ruin the very magic we all felt when we each first had the experience of a fish taking an offering from the end of our line. I have a lot of stuff to post up from the last two seasons. Just been a bit off on the social media vibe and control over peoples lives and had tried to focus more on the real world outside of my phone lately. I’ll be on and off to share as much footage and some more of my learning and experiences as I can, when I can! To anyone who’s stayed tuned to my content during my down time, know that I am grateful for it. -Capt Jack
