Who needs coffee when your Saturday mornings look like this? Then again, Ms. Diane may have needed extra caffeine… the warmup to the awesome Woodville Teddy Trot was a great wake up call for her! And we just love seeing these familiar faces there! Happy weekend to all - Fall is such a great season… we’re loving it ALL! Even our long TEAM FUNK Saturdays are a blast… one dancer shows just how much fun she’s “packed” in every Saturday! What in the what?!!🤪
Love the crazy Saturday girls’ shenanigans 🩵🩵

Thursday/Friday wrap-up and off to pick out the fantastic recital costumes! I head south and my son comes home😍🤪🍁… but the costumes are calling - so I set a spot for him for a “fall welcome home” and I took off!
You can see how we ALL felt in the studio by Friday night! 😴
Enjoy the weekend and see you all Tuesday and beyond as classes resume after the holiday.

Celebrating and honoring the 22 years of running Catch The FUNk and all the recent pieces of my life as such. This past weekend we honored our Mom - Dottie - 18 years have passed and we miss her so much. She’d have been such a presence at my studio and every kid would “know Dottie”! She’s proud I’m sure. These little boys - my wonderful sons - pictured with her at my sister’s wedding are now 19 and about to turn 22… unreal! I’m so proud to have raised them while running this amazing business… blessed in all ways!
Then, this summer, I had the JOY of seeing a familiar face come in to register her daughter for dance… but wait, SHE was the dancer, no?? How had the time passed and now the Mom (one of my original students 20+ years ago) is back but we get to have HER daughter as a student! FULL CIRCLE - another pure blessing and sign that we’ve built something so very special. So, thank you to all who choose to dance with me or be a part of my studio in any capacity… it truly is FAMILY! THIS IS AMAZING! 1st “second generation” is upon me… and I couldn’t feel more grateful! ❤️🙏🏻
