The Alumni Regatta is coming up fast! On Nov. 4 we will be having our annual alumni regatta report time at 10:30 at the URI sailing center. 5 pm there will be a post regatta reception at Avedisian Hall. Deadline to register is OCT. 27!

Rhode Islanders tomorrow is election day! Saying yes to question 1 will allow us to provide funds for a significant upgrade to the Bay Campus. Our campus today has outdated buildings and laboratories. Many of our sailors are studying on the bay campus and having access to new laboratories and buildings right on Narragansett bay will help grow the University. Please VOTE YES on QUESTION 1 tomorrow November 8th!

This past weekend we competed at the Schell Trophy, Urn Trophy, Nickerson Trophy and Conn College Invite Trophy. All weekend sailors fought light wind and strong current at most venues. Congratulations to everyone on a successful weekend and dinghy season! We have one last regatta in our fall season this weekend at Navy so keep an eye out for updates in Annapolis.

This morning a few of our sailors went on a 6k run with our schools president! We had so much fun getting to know each other and taking in the beautiful sunrise over campus.
