At CRAWL, parents and toddlers are side by side, building confidence, practicing judo basics, learning respect, and discovering the importance of teamwork through movement and play.

These early classes are about more than developing physical skills. They create meaningful time together, strengthen the parent-child bond, and introduce important values that can grow with them far beyond the mat.

Toddler students jump for joy as they earn their very first white belts! 🤍🥋

At CRAWL, we don’t award white belts to our youngest students (ages 2+) on day one… and here’s why:

Over the course of 10 weeks, new students work toward earning their white belt by developing confidence, respect, awareness, willpower, and leadership. Before officially beginning their judo journey, we believe it’s important for every child to learn dojo etiquette, practice appropriate behavior on the mat, and understand what it means to live the values of judo.

In our CRAWL Parent & Toddler Pre-Judo Program, children ages 2–4 learn foundational judo movements, etiquette, and life skills alongside their parents in a fun, supportive environment.

Our youngest students also learn an important lesson: set a goal, work hard every day, and never give up.

Watching them proudly receive the belt they earned is one of our favorite moments. We couldn’t be more proud of these little judoka for giving their best effort and beginning their journey on The Gentle Way.

Join us for 10 weeks of family bonding, movement, learning, and fun designed especially for children ages 2–4 and their grown-ups.

Each class includes:
✨ 30 minutes of structured pre-judo activities
🎈 15 minutes of open play
