Hi everyone, there will not be any class tomorrow morning. Instead, everyone is invited to come to downtown Raleigh to participate in the Jingle Bell run. One of our students has her own team, so come join us if you can!

Karate Students! - Past, Present, and Future ::
Our awesome Sensei (and great friend), Scott Cato will be joining us for class on Sat. Oct 5 and Thurs. Oct 12. The Saturday class may turn into a morning->lunchtime multi-hour session so that we can explore many new and wonderful things, perhaps even some kata-based sparring... more about that can be found here:

I liked this article - its short, you have time :) Not just because it's about Karate and kata, but I found it interesting that the author (Les) never talks about "style". His focus is, as ours should be, how to train kata so that it relates to real-world application.
