We are beyond proud to celebrate one of our own! ❤🤍💙

After years of hard work, dedication, and leadership, Lexi Alexander has officially signed to continue her swimming career at UNCW! 🏊‍♀️

A 2026 State Champion, team Captain, and a key leader of our Conference Championship girls' team, she has been part of this program since day one. Her commitment, perseverance, and impact on this team have been nothing short of incredible.

She has helped lay the foundation for what this program is today, and her legacy will be felt for years to come... a true Legend!

Please join me in congratulating her and wishing her the best of luck as she takes this next exciting step! If you see her around, be sure to give her a big congratulations! 👏

If you haven’t heard, our varsity basketball teams are on 🔥!!! Both teams ended Friday night with a huge win and are on their way to the 3rd round of the State Championship Tournament 💪💪💪….

Girls play at home Tuesday, 3/4 @ 5:30 vs. Pamlico County.

Boys play Tuesday 3/4 at Voyager Academy in Durham at 6:30 pm.

Conference Tournament games scheduled for tonight (2/21) have been postponed to tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon…. Boys game (not WP) at 1 and our girls play for the Championship at 2:30 pm at home.

Tonight the Wake Prep Swim Team placed 13th in the Women’s Division of the NCHSAA 1A/2A State Championship!! ❤️🤍💙

There were 105 teams at this competition. Placing 13th is an incredible accomplishment for a team of only 4 swimmers!

Way to go Guardians!! Thank you for a great season, Coach Saunders!!

Congratulations to the WPA Swim Team competing today at the NCHSAA Swimming State Championships!

Four of our team members qualified for this meet with amazing swims last weekend at the Regionals Championship meet. This morning these ladies raced a total of 2 Relays and 4 Individual events. I’m proud to report that our team qualified for Finals in ALL SIX of these events!

Finals will begin tonight at 5:00PM in Cary. Good luck to these awesome swimmers!! ❤️🤍💙
