Multiple podiums, tons of new personal bests, and gritty efforts across the board. We’re halfway through the Eastern Cup season and feeling fired up to get some training in before we head to Craftsbury in just a few short weeks.

And just like that the sun has set on the 2024-25 ski season! We had an awesome and SNOWY winter filled with speedy racing but also loads of fun and adventure. A small crew will still jump into the Nordic X at Cochran’s this Sunday, but our true competitive season wrapped up last week with the SuperTour Finals in Lake Placid. ✅

Abrahm, Annie, Ava, Beth, Finn, Miles, Nathan, Paige, and Stella all put on GMVS colors for the last time and are headed to amazing schools next year. We can’t wait to see the good each of them will bring to this world, but don’t forget…. Once Gumby, ALWAYS a Gumby! 🥹

And as many have likely read or heard, Colin is also headed into new colors, coaching the SMS T2 team for the Olympic year. While we will miss Colin we are excited for him to have this opportunity and hope to welcome him back in the future! Congrats, Colin! 👏

For now, we’re excited for a restful break and upon return we’ll harness the momentum of our program and start building towards next year. 💪

👏 A HUGE congratulations to alum Brian Bushey ‘21, who skied to🥉in the Men’s 20k freestyle on the final day of the 2025 NCAA Championships. Brian helped the Utes earn their 17th NCAA title! 🙌

*The second photo is from Brian’s first race of the series where he also earned All American status with a 6th place finish in the 7.5k individual classic.
