First off, we’d like to thank all of the wonderful individuals who have supported this surf team since day one. Your generosity, time, and support will never go unnoticed. This season was truly an amazing one, and we want to give another huge shoutout to our incredible coaching staff, dedicated surfers, and all of the support behind them.

To all of the moms and dads, brothers and sisters, aunties and uncles — mahalo for everything you have done to help make this season so successful. Your love and encouragement played a major role in the growth of this program and in the experiences these student-athletes will carry with them forever.

The future is bright for this surf team, and we look forward to welcoming even more participants out into the water next season. Mahalo again to everyone who helped make this year so special.

🚨Just a reminder that tonight is our Athletic Awards Night. The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a spaghetti dinner, followed by the awards program starting at 6:00 p.m.

This event is for everyone to celebrate our student-athletes in grades 9 through 12 who competed in a sport during this school year. We would love to see all of you there. Please come dressed to impress in your favorite aloha attire.

Tonight will also be a special opportunity for us to give a heartfelt farewell to our seniors as they prepare to graduate soon. This will be our final chance to celebrate this year’s athletes together, so let’s close out the year with a bang for Bulldog Athletics.

History has been made—not once, but twice.

The Waialua surf team has had a truly historic season. It began with our boys earning second place in the OIA, followed by our girls capturing their first-ever OIA Championship title.

Today marks a monumental achievement as our girls surf team won the first-ever HHSAA Girls Surfing Team Championship.

They want to extend their deepest gratitude to our coaches for their hard work and dedication, and to all the parents who have supported our student-athletes every step of the way. Thank you as well to our faculty and staff for your continued support, and a special mahalo to Jax’s Pizza for helping make it possible for our team to travel to Maui early for a valuable practice session.

It was truly inspiring to watch both our boys and girls compete against the best in the state.

Over the past few weeks, Waialua has faced challenges with the Kona low storm and flooding. Seeing our student-athletes rise above, compete with heart, and achieve both individual and team success has helped bring light during a difficult time.

A special shoutout to:

* Konan Riddleberger for placing 5th in the Boys Longboard Division
* Hanae Rose for taking 1st place in the Girls Longboard Division
* Skai Suitt for earning 1st place in the Girls Shortboard Division

You all continue to inspire us and set the standard for excellence.

It is that time of year again to renew your student-athlete sports physicals. We have a great opportunity as Hawaii Keiki is offering no-cost physical exams for our student-athletes.

This opportunity is open to 8th through 11th grade student-athletes who need their physicals completed for the upcoming school year.

Physical Dates:
May 12th, 13th, and 14th
By appointment only (No walk-ins)

🚨 Aloha Bulldog Community,

I know it’s been a tough time for everyone in our community, but tonight we have a chance to step away from it all and enjoy some great volleyball. 🏐

Tonight, the Bulldogs take on the Hurricanes from Kapolei. We invite everyone to come down and support the Bulldog Volleyball Program.

JV starts at 5:30 PM, with Varsity to follow.

We will also have our concession stand open with:
   •   Chicken Alfredo
   •   Mochiko Chicken and Rice
   •   Fried Saimin

Come down, enjoy yourselves, kick back, relax, and take a moment to decompress from everything our Waialua community has been going through due to the recent floods.

We hope to see you all there.
