The WYBA’s mission is to expand basketball opportunities for the Wahpeton area youth and provide competitive basketball experiences.

We will seek to develop and promote the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and work ethic.

Look who’s coming back! WYBA is excited to bring another training opportunity for Wahpeton players with basketball skills trainer MJ Hrabik. You won’t want to miss it! It’s open to Wahpeton boys and girls grades 4-12, but spots are limited.

What a fun night with North Dakota State College of Science Mens’s and Women’s basketball coaches and players! They brought the drills, motivation, and hype! Thank you all for coming out, working with our youth and growing the love of the game. We can’t wait to cheer you on this season. Go Cats! 🐾🏀

To the players: thank you for showing up, going hard, learning something new, being great teammates, and having fun! We are so happy you joined us this August. Always remember the ‘unseen hours’. Best of luck in your upcoming seasons! Keep doing great things!

To the parents and support that made it possible for players to attend: We see you! All the miles, the time, the investment… we appreciate you and thank you for giving your player the opportunity to be part of Wahpper League.

To all of our guest coaches and volunteers: Thank you for giving back to our youth! We cannot make this possible without you. Together we are creating a culture. Culture is what our players do every day—their effort, attitude, and how they treat others. It’s not just about winning. It’s about habits that lead to success in sports and life. Wahpper League was awesome this week! 🔥🏀 We’d like to give a big thank you to Guest coach Arly Ohm who brought energy and motivation as he taught players drills they could work on at home to grow their skills. He emphasize the ‘unseen hours’ that it takes to become a great player. Thanks again, Coach Ohm!
