Got to test out my brand new custom Extreme Angler GT popping rod hand made in Malaysia by the legend Kenny Chee. The rod works perfect! I wanted a stiff rod for working big poppers in rough Hawaiian waters and Kenny built a perfect PE-10 plugging rod for that nice even popping action. Can't wait to test them against some beast GT. Fishing was crazy good this past weekend. Lots of schooling fish and a monster 7 pound peacock bass for team Japan.

WOW!!! Monster Hawaiian peacock bass caught this past Lobor day weekend. Caught on a floating jerk bait form Japan.

Rented a car and drove a couple hours out to Abu Dhabi to check out the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. So beautiful! Walked in the Mosque normal tourists and walked out a changed person. Amazing powerful peaceful place.

Third time back to my home away from home. Can't believe it's been 6 years since the last trip. Great to see all my Italian friends and family again. Great start to Italy!

A beautiful island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, Sardinia. It really is crazy how I ended up on the other side of the world on a amazing island with unreal blue water and endless granite sand beaches. Some of most delicious food in the world comes from Italy. I swear it taste even better when your on a island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Beach, eat, sleep....repeat!
