What a weekend at NCM Motorsports Park!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for NASA Great Lakes’ first-ever all-TREC weekend. From drivers and crews to our officials, volunteers, and staff, this event was a tremendous success because of your hard work and enthusiasm.

Over 15 hours of endurance racing, teams battled through changing conditions, traffic, strategy calls, and countless laps around NCM. Some teams completed more than 300 laps—covering nearly 1,000 miles. That’s about the same distance as driving from Bowling Green, Kentucky, to Boston, Massachusetts, or from Chicago to Denver.

The racing was intense, the competition was close, and the paddock atmosphere reminded us why endurance racing is so special. Thank you for making our first all-TREC weekend one to remember.

We’ll see you at the next NASA Great Lakes TREC event!

What an incredible first day of our first-ever full weekend of NASA Great Lakes TREC racing at NCM Motorsports Park!

Over 8 hours of competition and more than 550 miles of racing, the battle for victory came down to less than one minute. That’s endurance racing at its finest.

The field collectively logged several thousand miles around NCM today, with drivers, teams, and volunteers making this inaugural weekend a huge success.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Day 1 such a memorable event. We can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow with more racing!

This event marks the debut of their inaugural Team Racing Endurance Challenge, bringing a new level of strategy, teamwork, and competition to the track.

Hey everyone! we made some adjustments to the TREC 3 Class Limits. Based on comparisons of similarly classed cars, we felt a small adjustment was in order.

These are the new TREC 3 Class Limits.

NASA Endurance Racing series TREC License is easy to obtain.

The application is free. Give it a try!
INTERMEDIATE Track day experience or 3-5 endurance races required for license approval.

Membership is not required. Just fill out your info to get a User number for the license application. Choose to pay for a membership if your license is approved.

The 2026 Class Limits for NASA Great Lakes TREC remain the same as last year, and we have added Nelson Ledges. Remember, if you go faster than your class limit you will be bumped to the next faster class for that race. If you exceed the TREC 3 limit, we will need to have a conversation (See the 2026 TREC Rules).
