Join us on our Saturday earth hikes. Leading up to reopening the trail center.. APRIL 4TH we are at Veterans Memorial Path, Calverton.
Meet 9am near the Peconic Ice Skating.
Sign in at our event tab and posts.
Switch to going so we know who to expect.
Hiking to Prestons Pond and surrounding area.
Partial Sunshine... rain in the afternoon. We are looking good for our morning hike!

Our April 4th hike will a connection hike to demonstrate how the paved path connects to other trails in the area. We will explore the Prestons Pond and the loop trail. Besides the Pond, we will see grasslands, Rows of tall, healthy pines and a natural assortment of ponds.
I will point out conection trails to the Paumanok Path that we will explore later this month.
I look forward to seeing you at 9:00 am at the South East corner of the parking lot, near the ice skating rink.
