The spring sports parent meeting is next Monday, March 2nd, 2026 at 6pm.

The boys uniform is the same as last year, white polo and purple shorts. They should be listed at the top of the page. The uniform is the only thing required for play. These will also ship to your house, which should allow you to get them before the season.

Make sure to register and ask me if you have any questions about the upcoming season.

Important Details:
- Cost: $20 per sign
- Order Deadline: April 3rd
- Delivery: Signs will be delivered to players during practice on April 8th or 9th.

Hi families!

Each year nearly 1,000 students participate in a cultural exchange year with CIEE to experience American daily life with a host family.

This is a wonderful opportunity to expose your family, school, and community to a new perspective and make a lifelong friend!

I'm assisting a young man from Spain named Miguel in his search for a host family for the 2024-2025 school year.

Miguel does not yet have a specific school to attend and can attend her host family's local high school! He will be arriving in MN in mid-August.

Miguel is very family focused, sporty, and is eager to live life with his host family! He has a dog and a 13 year old sister and is quite mature. He plays soccer and tennis and would love to continue while in the US.

His hope is to have an "American family" and to become their "Spanish son"! Miguel's parents both work as Judges in Spain and professors at universities and share that Miguel is a good kid with a friendly, open, and sporty character.

Our students:
Speak strong English
Want to share their culture!
Have their own health insurance
Have their own spending money
Are supported monthly by a Local Coordinator
Have strong academics
Need a loving home, a bed, and 3 meals a day!

I have indicated which jersey options are required for the upcoming season. The boys can order new now, but I will also be re-opening this in February for the 2025 Spring season.

Girls have the option of either of the skirts or the shorts as a personal preference.

We have tennis camp next week, July 15th-18th, and we would love to have extra coaches to help out Monday-Thursday. Advanced camp goes from 7:30am-8:30am, Kindergarten group 8:30am-9:00am, 1st-5th 9:00am-10:30am, and 6th-12th beginner is 10:30am-12:00pm.

We have a new provider for uniforms and spirit wear. The store currently says it ends on Wednesday the 17th, but I will get it extended to allow all players the ability to buy the new uniform. We are starting a new uniform program to keep the same uniform for 4 years. This is the first year, so all players will be required to buy the uniform. We had an absolutely gorgeous day to play outside for the first round, where we won 3 of our 4 matches! Keagan Vandergon had a tough draw against Minnetonka, but played extremely well in a loss. Carben Dock, with his first individual sections singles win to go along with his doubles win from last year, makes him the winningest sections playerin Waconia tennis history. The doubles duos of Ean Bolton and Colton Erenstein, and Carson Mattson and Landon Bessire each won their first match 6-4, 6‐3. We had 3 total wins and 1 forfeit in our first 3 years, so this was a bit of domination today! We didn't have the same luck indoors in the second round when we played against higher competition, but it was still some of the best tennis of the year!
