What a great way to spend a summer day!!
Thank you to the Waco Challenger League volunteers and the Little League Southwest Regional Staff for the opportunity to get the players on the field today. After the Little League Baseball Regional Opening Ceremonies, the Waco Challenger Little League team played First Colony Little League from Sugar Land, Texas. Little League Baseball teams from the Southwest Region participated as Buddies for the players. It was a great time for everyone involved.
It was a great day!

Make plans to attend the Challenger Little League Southwest Regional Challenger Exhibition game on Wednesday, August 5th. Waco Challenger Little League will participate in an exhibition game with a team from First Colony Little League from Sugar Land, Texas. The game should begin at 10 am.
The game will be played at the Little League Southwest Regional Center located at 3700 S. University Parks Drive, Waco, Texas 76706.
Players for the Southwest Regional Little League teams will participate as Buddies for the Challenger players. Little League Regional teams are from Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Thank you to the Little League Southwest Regional Staff and the staff from Main Event - Waco and Hawaiian Falls - Waco for providing a great afternoon activity once the Challenger Senior League players completed the 2026 Challenger Senior League Exhibition game on July 17th. Everyone that joined in had a great time. Thank you so much!

Be sure to mark your calendar for August 5th when Waco Challenger Little League players will compete against the First Colony Little League Challenger players in the Southwest Regional Baseball Exhibition Game. The game will be played at the Little League Southwest Regional Center located at 3700 S. University Parks Drive, Waco, Texas 76706. Game time should be 10 am - August 5th. Southwest Regional Baseball teams will participate as the Buddies for the Challenger Little Leaguers.

PLAYGROUND CASE STUDY — Planning a visit to the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center Playground this week? KOMPAN, the playground's designer, will be conducting a voluntary case study to learn more about how visitors use the space.
The study will be led by Dr. Suzanne Flannery Quinn, PhD, manager of the KOMPAN Play Institute, Americas. Dr. Quinn researches child development and how children and families interact with playgrounds, helping inform the design of engaging play environments for children of all abilities.
During the study, feedback will be gathered through brief surveys and observations. With parent or guardian permission, children may also be asked a few age-appropriate questions.
Participation is completely voluntary, and the information collected will help KOMPAN better understand what features make playgrounds engaging for families and children.
