Nitro Dave’s Clash of the Titans Racing Series
2026 Points Championship Update
First, THANK YOU.
Thank you to every racer, family, sponsor, spectator, track, volunteer, media members and supporter who has helped build the Clash.
Your support has made a difference.

WHY CHANGES ARE BEING MADE
Our mission has always been to build a South Central racing series where:
• Kids and parents can both race
• Families can enjoy the weekend together
• Racers have a series they are proud to support
• Drag racing can continue to grow in our area
The response after our first two events has been incredible.
I have had racer after racer tell me:
“Please don’t give up. Our area needs this.”
And I agree.
But the financial side has become difficult.
The economy has affected racer participation, spectator attendance, and sponsorship budgets.
Our Texas Motorplex event finished approximately $45,000 in the red after guaranteed payouts, lower spectator attendance, limited sponsorship funding, and a major sponsor failing to fulfill its commitment.
I personally covered those losses because I believe in the Clash.
But I cannot continue funding losses at that level and expect this series to survive.

2026 POINTS CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH PAY OUT CONTINUING:
✅ Rising Titans - The championship will continue. This one is for the kids.
✅ Titans 5.30’ish - Will continue thanks to Quick Performance.
✅ Titans 4.50’ish - Will continue thanks to Circle D Specialties and Reid Racing.
A huge thank you to these companies.
Their support has helped keep these class championships alive.

ALL OTHER POINTS CLASSES:
For racers who purchased a Points Championship membership in the remaining classes:
The points Championship Competition will still continue, with Trophies. However, Your full membership fee will be credited toward your entry fee at our next Clash event. Or I will issue you a refund if you cannot make the race.
This was a very difficult decision to make. I am disappointed and I understand if you are as well. I am sorry.
I will update Points Standings over this holiday weekend.

ONE MORE FULL CLASH RACE IN 2026:

📅 November 12–14, 2026
For Evadale, we will be changing the entry fee and payout structure.
The goal is simple: MAKE RACING AFFORDABLE.
Let’s get back to what this was supposed to be about:
Racing.
Family.
Competition.
Having fun.

MOVING FORWARD:
I still believe in the Clash.
I still believe South Central racing needs it.
And we are not giving up.
But for this series to survive and grow, it has to have the support of the racers, spectators, sponsors, businesses, and fans it was created for.
If you want to see the Clash continue:
Come race.
Bring your family.
Bring your friends.
Share our events.
Support the companies that support the racers.
Support the media helping us tell the story.
At the end of the day:
