Tonight, we had the honor of recognizing our State Champion Pirates and celebrating everything they accomplished this season at the LVISD Board Meeting.

Thank you to the LVISD Board of Trustees and district administration for taking the time to honor these incredible young men. Your support played a vital role in making this historic season possible, and we are grateful for your continued investment in our student-athletes and soccer program.

After 9 unforgettable years, Coach Gibson is stepping away as head coach.

In his time leading our program, he built a legacy that includes 6 district championships, 16 playoff wins, a state championship, thriving junior high programs, and over 100 athletes earning accolades. But more important than the trophies and awards is the culture he created, one built on family, winning, accountability, and lifelong success.

Coach Gibson changed this program forever, and we are incredibly thankful for everything he poured into our athletes and community. While we are sad to see him step away, we are beyond blessed to have been led by him.

Thank you, Coach. Once a Pirate, always a Pirate.
