It’s been a minute….. but this call deserves a post. Most people are familiar with World War II and all of our troops that were in Germany. There are many people that didn’t know that we had troops in the Pacific as well. One group in particular was the 1st Marine’s stationed in Guadalcanal. The stories are great and multiple metals were won. One metal in particular was one by a man named John Basilone he received the medal of honor during his time on the canal. This call features wood from the canal and the black band around the top holds sand from the beach itself the marines stormed. The big red one is engraved on the call as a memorial to the first Marines that lost their lives during multiple contacts on the canal. This call has history on it that only it holds the secrets too. I’m honored to be able to create this for marine that will soon be able to take ducks down with it. Thank you for trusting me on such a project. I hope I did y’all proud
