REMINDER! First team meeting tonite! Who's coming? All students who are committing to being on our team for the season. If you do not have a boat but still want to fish, we encourage you to come as we may be able to match you up with a partner. Bring $50 as your registration fee to the team. Bring your gear to fish the pond. Parents, bring the entire family if ya want. The Will is laid back, has food and a bar. 6PM. See you there!!!

Attention Bosqueville ISD! Wanna join our Bosqueville Bass Fishing club ? Wanna compete in official high school and middle school bass tournaments representing Bosqueville throughout Texas? If so, come to our info meeting on July 16th at 6:30pm at Slowrise on the Brazos. We will discuss what to expect and what you need. A few FAQs:

Q. Do you need to be an experienced bass fishermen to join?
A. No but it's very competitive. You should have a basic understanding on how to fish, have your own bass fishing gear and want to catch fish!

Q. Do I need a bass boat to be on the team?
A. No. but you will need to find a person with a bass boat (known as a boat captain). They volunteer to take you out to compete in the tournaments. Most tournaments are on Saturday. Good news is that our club will cover all their expenses (Gas, travel, entry fees, etc). Start asking your family and friends to secure a boat captain. FYI, you will also need a fishing partner who attends Bosqueville Middle School/ High School

Q. Is there a cost to join the Bass club?
A. Yes. There is a $50 club fee. This offsets the cost of a jersey. You will also be required to help find sponsors for the entire team.

Q. Is Bosqueville represented well in tournament bass fishing?
A. We average 16-18 fishermen who compete in mutliple tournament trails representing Bosqueville. Bosqueville has built a strong record as one of the top schools competing in central Texas.

Q. what grades can compete?
A. 6th grade through 12th grade. There are different divisions. Middle schoolers will have less tournaments to compete in.

Q. Will I smell like fish?
A. Only if you catch fish.

Bosqueville High representin at the Texas High School BASS Association AOY championships on Lake Tyler today. The top 100 teams of the state of Texas are competing. Kenji and Fisher are #6 of 100 in AOY points. They currently have their 3 fish limit and looking to cull two bigguns.

Come have a late dinner under the stars at Slowrise on the Brazos and watch the final stage weigh-in and awards for our Fishkid Head 2 Head bass fishing challenge presented by University Kia, Monday night June 22nd 8:30pm!! Cheer on our very own Bosqueville team Fisher Tindell and Kenji Urabe as they battle it out against China Spring in the Final stage of the FKH2H.

Come out to Slowrise on the Brazos Monday June 22nd at 8:30pm to watch the Final Stage weigh-in and trophy presentation for the Fish Kid Head2Head Bass fishing challenge on the Brazos River. Every fish over 13" counts. Can Fisher Tindell and Kenji Urabe catch the most fish and claim the championships?! Let's all find out together and cheer them on Monday Night June 22nd 8:30pm.
