Any news reporters interested in doing a local interest piece about the Jefferson A's ? We are a historically black baseball team located in the Wacissa area that has been around since 1980!

The season just started last week and we'd love to drum up fresh interest and recruit some new players!

We're also looking for donations and sponsors for the season!

The A's had a 7-0 WIN today against the Gadsen Cardinals! Starting pitcher Ben Baylor threw 7 shut out innings striking out 8 and only giving up 2 hits with Sylvester Peck Jr. behind the plate.

Jefferson A's played the Concord Warrior's today. We were short on players so Coach Norton stepped up to the plate with a great hit!

We lost 7-10, but it was definitely an on the edge of your seat game!

Opening Day was a success! Today's game was against the Cairo Reds. We run ruled them 10-0 in 5 innings! Ben Baylor pitched all 5 innings with no runs and only 2 hits. Alexander Stewart hit a grand slam in the first inning. Great job Jefferson A's ! Here's to an awesome start of a new season!
