August 20 Charter- made the best of a tough day. Buzzed by Navy range aircraft early and had to move outta my favorite fishing hole. Moved around a bit but could not string the bites together. Found the bananas and got them out of the boat😩 Ran through a nasty storm on the way in, lots of wind , sideways rain, solid 5 footers and lightning!. Ready for next trip!

For those that are not aware, The Island House Restaurant and Marina (fuel provider) closed effective 12/30/2025.

As of today, it is not clear IF the property will be sold and IF offered for sale when a prospective owner would have the Restaurant and Marina ready to reopen for business.

To address the uncertainty of the Restaurant and Marina status for the 2026 fishing season, we have made arrangements for fuel delivery so we can operate for the 2026 season. The fuel delivery company has a $125.00 fuel delivery charge (in addition to fuel cost) that we will have to pass on to our clients to continue to operate.

We hope the future status of the Restaurant and Marina becomes clearer in the coming months, the Marina reopens and fuel becomes a non issue.
