Ready to Wrestle.

The wrestling team finally has a new home in the brand new wrestling room in the fieldhouse. A big thanks to Coach Ed Shenefield and Greg Gahl, Spencer Miller and Grant and Aubrey Warmuth for piecing it together. It looks great! This large space will be an outstanding facility for the wrestling program for years to come!

Wrestling Room Setup - Saturday, August 29

First, I want to apologize for the late notification.

We have finally received word that we are taking ownership of the new Wrestling Room. To begin preparing the space for the upcoming season, the coaching staff will be meeting tomorrow, Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Door 13 to start setting up the room.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as we work to organize equipment, arrange the mats, and get the facility ready for our wrestlers. The more hands we have, the quicker the process will go.

Thank you for your flexibility and support. We are excited to take this next step and begin building our new wrestling home.

Please join us in welcoming, pending Board approval, our new Head Girls Wrestling Coach, Grant Warmuth!

I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet and talk with Grant, and I am excited about the passion, leadership, and energy he will bring to our program. I have no doubt that he will do a great job leading our girls wrestling team and helping our student-athletes grow both on and off the mat.

Northfield Wrestling Family,

As many of you may have heard, Coach Nicole Knox has stepped down as the Head Girls Wrestling Coach.

We want to express our sincere appreciation for Nicole's dedication, leadership, and the positive impact she has had on the Lady Norsemen and the Northfield Wrestling program as a whole. Her commitment to our athletes and the growth of girls wrestling at Northfield has been invaluable. Nicole, please know that you will always be welcome in the wrestling room and at any future meets.

A new coach has been nominated, and we anticipate making an official announcement in the near future. During this transition, I ask for your patience and support. Please be assured that the Lady Norsemen will continue to have strong leadership, and we remain fully committed to providing a positive and successful experience for our student-athletes.
