What a remarkable group of kids we were missing a number of wrestlers tonight but still had a wonderful time at our annual awards banquet, a big shout out to all who stepped up and donated door prizes and brought in the delicious food. This group is truly more than just wrestling. We are family.

What a birthday present! 3rd place in an extremely demanding bracket 12u 135. I am exceedingly proud of Brantley Gatchel's unwavering dedication. He has certainly invested a significant amount of time in training with the high school team throughout the year, the middle school team, and also attending Indiana Tech. Brantley is learning hard work pays off 💪💪

💥💥State placer alert💥💥 I'm extremely proud of Jaxon Lynn for taking an early loss and fighting his way back to the 3rd and 4th place match, and finishing 4th in a very stacked division💪. This is Jaxon's 1st full year, and I'm telling you the sky is the limit for this kid! He works hard, listens, and is one of the most respectful kids I know; when he gains confidence,and cracks outta his shell watch out wrestling world!🧡

And there’s a newwwwwwww state champion!! Thatcher “Magic” Phillipy !!
I’d like to put into perspective how dominant Thatcher was today, his first match= pin in 20 seconds,second match 16-1 TF (the kids only point came from locking hands) and in the championship he beat the Avon Kid 17-0 technical fall and that kid had never been beaten and was 25-0 until he ran into the Magic 💪💪 Anyone that’s seen Thatcher pratice in the last month understands he practices like he wrestles full bore and wide open
