With the summer slowly coming to an end, it’s time for our yearly OOTP Banner day. For every girl that gets to hang their college banner, it signifies the hard work, sweat, tears and emotions that were left on our turf during their time with OOTP.

Every banner girl knows that hanging a banner at our shop is more than just the signing - it means that, softball or not, you will always remember what you did to get to that moment (bumpy roads included) and always be a part of our OOTP family. Thank you to all the families for being a part of our community and for investing in us to guide and help you and your daughters get to where they want.

With the summer season wrapping, it’s time to announce the 2026 OOTP Fall Hitting & Pitching Groups! Since 2018, OOTP has been established as the ONLY all Softball facility in the #518. Led by former University at Albany standout Kara Faraone, Out of the Park Softball has had the opportunity to work with, train and develop some of the best softball players in the Northeast including:

* 70+ High School All Stars from 3 different states (NY, MA, VT)
* 50+ Former/Current Players at the NCAA or NJCAA level including over 20 Division 1 players
* 6 Suburban Council (NY) Pitcher of the Year
* 5 Suburban Council (NY) Catcher of the Year
* 30+ All-State (NY) All-Stars
* 4 Section II (NY) Player of the Year
* 3 New York State Player of the Year
* 6 former/current High School/NCAA coaches

With over 30 years of experience, Coach Kara has defined player growth in the #518 for close to 3 decades while leading the way and advising for various teams, groups and organizations throughout the Northeast while establishing a strong foundation for players and providing proper guidance to families as they navigate the softball world.

Now that all of our Seniors have left for their next chapter in life, we wanted to celebrate our Banner Girls for 2025. We are so proud of all the time, sweat, tears and work they have put in over the years and we are so proud to have been a part of their journey. We can’t wait to see what happens next with these girls and hope that their next chapter is better than the last. Best of luck to all of the girls as they begin their college journey - we can’t wait to hear all about it when you come back home and get back to work in the tunnels to get ready for 2026!

Pretty cool having MegRem Softball stop in to meet Coach Kara this weekend! Nothing like getting the #1 social media softball influencer and the #1 518 softball influencer together to chop it up. We were very happy to have her in the area to provide her brand of softball to a lot of the 518 girls this past weekend and are excited to have her return in the future. Best of luck to Coach Meg Rem with the remainder of 2025!

Congratulations to .parisi & for signing their NLI to play Division 1 softball! We are so unbelievably proud of the both of you for all the work & sacrifice you have made to get to this point in your life. The journey is just beginning and we are so happy and grateful to have been a small part of it up to this point. Pretty surreal to see these ladies go from Puppies to Big Dogs and become the players they are today. To KP & Savage, thank you for letting us be a part of your special day and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
