Celebrating the legacy of Bob Mix, who served as Albany Country Club’s Head Golf Professional for 22 years, from 1959–1980, four years at the “old club” and 18 years at our current location.

A three-time NENY PGA Stroke Play Champion, former NENY PGA President, and two-time NENY PGA Professional of the Year, Bob was also a passionate advocate for junior golf. Today, one of the NENY PGA’s major junior tournaments proudly bears his name.

Nearly 63 years ago, Albany Country Club’s new clubhouse hosted its very first event - the wedding reception of Mary Beth and Frank O’Brien. 💍

The clubhouse was formally opened on August 10, 1963, with a gala celebration featuring an elegant menu and a wonderful gathering of members. What a special glimpse into ACC history! ❤️

What a wonderful afternoon on the course! Twenty-five couples came out to compete in our Mr. & Mrs. Event, playing 18 holes of Modified Alternate Shot on a beautiful day at the Club.

🏆 Congratulations to Kevin & Baleigh Heelan, our 2026 champions! They posted an impressive Net 65 (-7) to take the win by two strokes over the next-best team.

🎾 A Great Labor Day Weekend on the Courts! ☀️

This weekend, we enjoyed our Labor Day Round-Robin, bringing together three courts of talented players for four exciting rounds of competition.

👏 Congratulations to Abigail Bailey, who came out on top with the most games won - 19 games!

It was a fantastic day filled with great tennis, friendly competition, and plenty of camaraderie. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make it such a fun event!
