β½π Exciting News from New Scotland Soccer Club! πβ½
We are incredibly proud to share that Voorheesville student Riley Chismark, who was nominated by New Scotland SC for the 2026 LT. JOHN FINN COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD, has been selected as this year's recipient and was honored during a ceremony earlier today!
As a volunteer coach for both our U8 Co-Ed and U14 Girls teams, Riley has made a tremendous impact on our players. She creates a positive and inclusive environment where young athletes feel supported, encouraged, and motivated to grow. From helping our youngest players develop confidence and a love for soccer to mentoring our older girls as they navigate teamwork, resilience, and self-belief, Riley consistently goes above and beyond.
A two-year captain of the Voorheesville Girls Varsity Soccer Team, Riley leads by example through her dedication, sportsmanship, and commitment to giving back. She has become a role model for many of our players and demonstrates the positive influence that youth athletes can have within their communities.
We are honored to have nominated Riley and thrilled to see her recognized with this well-deserved award. Her service, leadership, and dedication embody the values of New Scotland Soccer Club.
The Albany County Youth Recognition Awards honor young people for their academic achievement, personal growth, and contributions to their communities. Riley exemplifies these qualities and is truly deserving of this recognition.
Please join us in congratulating Riley Chismark on receiving the 2026 Lt. John Finn Community Service Award! πβ½
