Who is Scott Burke??? Scott Burke is from Southern California, a beach town aptly named Oceanside, just north of San Diego. Scott cut his industry teeth in the early 1980’s as a board shaper at Scott Hawaii. This began a lifelong journey where he began working for, and ultimately managing the BZ Pro Boards factory in the late 80’s through the 1990’s, guiding shapers on high end bodyboards and soft surfboards. Along the way, Scott surfed and bodyboarded, which helped him hone the performance side of shaping. In the early 2000’s, Scott’s parent company EOS sold to Wham-O, the owner of Morey Bodyboards, making Scott the production manager of the two biggest bodyboard brands on the planet. In 2008, Scott, along with 3 other partners, formed Keeper Sports Products, giving birth to two new board brands … California Board Company and Scott Burke Surf! 40 years later, Scott continues to provide the masses with fun, quality driven, performance surf products.
