SUMMER CLIMBING CAMP ☀️

Looking for a fun way to keep your kids active and busy this summer? Join us at Flux Climbing Center for our Youth Climbing Camp!

Kids ages 6–14 will learn:
Basic climbing techniques
How to fall properly and safely
Climbing vocabulary
Teamwork & friendship building

Plus arts & crafts, climbing games, and a fun, supportive atmosphere for all skill levels!

Where: Flux Training Center
615 Sycamore Ave, Vista, CA 92083

Time: Monday–Thursday | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Half-Day Camp
Cost: $225 per 4-day week
Includes a tie-dye camp T-shirt!

A $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot and is refundable up to 30 days before your camp week.

Camp Dates:
• June 8th–11th
• June 29th–July 2nd
• Every week in July through August 14th

Please bring:
Snacks & lunch
Water bottle
Closed-toe shoes required (no Crocs)
Shorts under skirts/dresses recommended

What's your goals for the new year!!!!

Climb Consistently All Year-

Commit to a realistic schedule (e.g., 2–3 sessions per week) and track your sessions to build steady progress rather than short bursts of motivation.

Improve Technique Over Pure Strength-

Focus on footwork, body positioning, and efficient movement—such as silent feet, flagging, and hip movement—at least once per session.

Reach a Specific Grade or Project Goal-

Set a clear, measurable target (e.g., send your first V5 / 7a / 5.12a, or finish a long-term project) and break it into monthly milestones.

Train Smart and Stay Injury-Free-

Add structured warm-ups, antagonist training, mobility, and proper rest days to keep fingers, shoulders, and elbows healthy.

Climb Outside or Try a New Discipline-

Get outside more often, or explore something new—trad climbing, lead climbing, moonboard, or competitions—to keep climbing fun and motivating.
