Fitness has long been an outlet for many. Over time, it has brought together athletes from every walk of life, from countries around the world. It's always been a way to join people together and reinforce positivity through working out.

The movement has always been bigger than one person. The goal has always been simple - create a space where everyone feels welcomed and no one is alienated. Everyone succeeds in their own way.

CROSSFIT AEQUITAS was started by a group of people that wanted to align justice with fitness. Those people came from all different backgrounds and represented every corner of our community.

Those same individuals also personified the various pillars of our justice system. The bond that was created in the beginning has transcended AEQUITAS athletes through more than fitness.

Although our next steps are unclear at the moment, we will continue to move forward in the way we know - as one. The movement will still advance on the strength of those that have brought it this far. And like it always has, we will promote change in our community, and ultimately the world.

A few weeks ago, the San Diego DA’s Office lost one of our own. DDA Paul Myers was a valued member of the DA’s Office, capturing jurors with his passion and colleagues with his heart. Paul touched many people through this time in office and on this earth, and for that he’ll never be forgotten. He was always a proud supporter of Crossfit Aequitas so we couldn’t let him leave without a proper CrossFit goodbye. Thanks to everyone who joined in to celebrate the life of a great human through fitness. Cheers, Paul. See ya soon.
