You’re not the same as the person next to you.

Even if you have the EXACT same goals, your path to get there is going to be very different.

Why? Because there are SO many factors that make you, YOU!

Let’s take getting stronger for example. So many people come to us and want to get stronger.

Can’t argue with that, there are many benefits to having stronger muscles and bones.

Let’s take Mary, a mother of 2 that works a full time job, has a history of mostly running and some hamstring issues.

Does it make sense that her path to getting strong should look exactly the same as John who is 65 years old and about to retire and was generally very sedentary prior?

No, we know that. That’s obvious to many.

But what if we take Mary and compare her to Jane who ALSO was a runner, also has 2 kids, also has a full time job, and also wants to get stronger.

On paper they sound pretty similar, but what happens if we take a look at their flexibility and mobility joint by joint?

What happens when we take a look at their muscular strength balance across joints?

What happens when we look at how Mary is handling work stress, sleep, nutrition, and recovery vs Jane.

Now we start to see two seemingly similar individuals who may not be so similar at all, and if they are following the same exact plan to get “stronger” who is the plan actually written for?

This is why having an individualized program is so important.

There are so many things that make you, you. And these factors change day to day, week to week, month to month, and year to year.

A general program or random workouts don’t take anything about you into consideration.

If you’re serious about your health and serious about reaching goals, individualized program is the absolute best path to get there.

If you’re ready for something that’s written for YOU, send us a message or click the link in bio to schedule a free consult.

Everyone is different

Different training ages.
Different injury history.
Different goals.

Why should we expect everyone to do the same work out?

“But we can scale the workout so that it works for anyone”

Sure you can scale the workout so that anybody can do it. That does not mean it’s actually beneficial for them.

Should they be doing it?
Does it match up with their goals?

What if they need to work on hinging, but this workout is squatting?

How do you even know if they need to be working on hinging or squatting?

What if they have shoulder pain? Do we just tell them to stop pressing overhead for every single workout?

At , we know that everyone is different

From day one, we make sure that we are taking into account those differences.

Based on specific questions, you will start with a specific amount of personal training sessions. No one size fits all.

From there, we introduce you to our Individual Design class. Which is exactly what you need because you’re different than the person next to you.

Thirty minutes of working on your unique needs followed by a group workout that’s already specifically tailored to your needs by your coach.

You are not the same as everyone and your workouts shouldn’t be the same either

What do you want?

We realize that when someone comes to work with us they are either moving towards something they want or away from something they don’t want.

That’s what goals are, right?

Maybe you want to be able to go hiking with your kids without getting so tired.

Or, maybe you don’t want to feel like you need to wear a t-shirt when you go to the beach.

We’re not placing any judgement on what you do or don’t want.

We just realize it’s important to you, so it’s important to us.

Let’s call the thing you want to change your “prison state”.

That doesn’t mean your life is terrible. It just means there’s somewhere you’d rather be, something you’d rather have, be able to do, or some way you’d rather FEEL than you do now.

That place is your “dream state”.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Whether your prison state has to do with your health and fitness goals or not, here are 7 questions to ask yourself often:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. What is your “prison state” that would have the largest positive ripple effect into other parts of your life?

2. Why is your prison state difficult to change?

3. Why do you keep finding yourself in the position you are in?

4. What would it take to make #3 untrue?

5. Why hasn’t #4 happened yet?

6. What would it take to make #5 untrue?

7. How can you start doing this by tomorrow?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Working towards what you want or don’t want can be frustrating.

It can also leave you feeling uncertain of if you’ll ever reach the finish line.

We get it.

Using these 7 questions often can help give some clarity around the most important steps to start taking to get where you want to go.

We have said it before and we will say it again: sleep is the wonder drug.⠀⠀⠀
_⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before you focus on doing an extra circuit of accessory work, mobility exercises, squat therapy, etc, focus on getting 8 hours of sleep.⠀⠀⠀⠀
_⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your main 'accessory' work, should be making your bedtime consistent.⠀⠀⠀⠀
_⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We understand that healthcare is about more than surgeries and prescriptions and fitness is about more than sweating and lifting weights.
_

We are addressing so much more than what happens in the gym. We are asking about your fuel, your stress management, your mental health and..yes...your sleep.⠀
_

We are bridging the gap by leaving no stone unturned.

You are not going to go through life without experiencing discomfort.

The things we do every day in the gym train us in more ways than fitness.
They train us to push our limits.
They train us to withstand uncomfortable situations.
They train us to understand what we are capable of.

We are capable of making ourselves more adaptable. We are capable of making ourselves more resilient. We are capable of adjusting to our surroundings.

Is your workout just a workout, or is it serving you the other 23 hours of your day, in the other avenues of your life outside the gym?

We can't choose whether we experience discomfort or not, but we can choose where we experience it, and train ourselves to handle it.

If you can run a sub 6 minute mile or lift heavy weight, BUT you’re in pain, how healthy are you?!

Your experiences in the gym should be adding to your quality of life, not taking away from it.

Pain happens, injuries happen. Sometimes they are unavoidable.

Luckily we are qualified to help you get OUT of pain when those things come up.

In Person ✅
Virtually ✅
Remote ✅

Experiencing aches and pains that are limiting the things you want to be able to do?

Reach out to us, if we can help you, we absolutely will.

If we can’t, we will refer you to someone who can.

There’s a difference between active recovery and
rest and you need BOTH..
For every 60 minutes that you workout, spend a minimum of 15 minutes on active recovery..
Every week take a rest day, no matter what.
NO EXERCISE!
Write, Read, Meditate, Get extra sleep, Meal prep food for the week, etc….
If this is something you might need help with, click the link in our bio and let us know.

It doesn’t work unless you do.

Consistently.

Over time.

We hear it all the time “ I’ve tried everything”

… for how long? And how many times did you switch plans/coaches/doctors before giving it time to be effective?

Consistency compounds, and nothing works without it.

09/25/2025

It’s not lazy to know just how much work you need to put in to get better, it’s smart.
Most people choose the alternative: MORE, MORE, MORE, until something gives. They get hurt. They burn out. They fall off and go backwards.
We are for the person who wants to do this long term.
For the person who wants to get better without burning out.
For the person who wants their body to feel better than ever in the process. No aches and pains, just progress.
