🎣 THURSDAY RIGGING TIP — SLOW DOWN BEFORE YOU MOVE

Getting bites in an area and then suddenly nothing?

Before you fire up the trolling motor, try changing how you work the bait—not the bait itself.

When fishing a Texas-rigged craw or creature bait around wood, rock, or other cover, make your cast and work it normally until you reach the highest-percentage spot. Then:

👉 Let the bait sit for a few extra seconds.
👉 Give it one or two small shakes without moving it far.
👉 Pause again before pulling it away from the cover.

Sometimes that bass has already seen your bait—it just needs an easy opportunity to commit.
