Brutal Honesty... The Bike Industry creates a lot of waste & for 11 years I've worked behind the scenes to lessen the impact of all this waste. Some examples...
- Inner Tubes get collected & I send to Tannus ⭕️ America for re-use
- Tires get collected, I clean out the sealant & then deliver to Reliable Tire in San Diego
- Rotors I collect & the ones w/ no plastic go directly to a metal recycler in San Marcos... Ones w/ plastic I take apart and recycle the metal
- Cassettes I collect and send to various artists around the country
- Miscellaneous... So Proud of this "Franken Bike" that is from 5 different customers' donations! From an old frame that was sitting on the side of the house, to the old fork (rebuilt), to the wheels & tires, to the bars! I've never had so much fun on a bike before!!!

So Good & So Fun to support all the hammering CAF racers today! It was a special day for me to return to the roots of my Leadville experience! Everyone on the team did so well & with great attitudes! So proud of you all and special Thanks to my good friend Jen for all she does Jennifer Rose At this event you experience the family aspect of CAF & get an understanding of the power of participation! Has me thinking about chasing that Buckle again! I've based my business on service which means if I ain't wrenching, then I ain't making $. So, more getting up early and getting that riding in! Hope You All Have a Great Leadville 100 MTB tomorrow! This year not racing, but having fun wrenching for Challenged Athletes Foundation I will be Setup at Twin Lakes (Used to be alternative before the Dam) So I'll give you a hoot & holler as the last station before you hit the short single track & go over the Dam! Rip it up everyone & having done this race 7 times.... please remember that it's a privelage & a pleasure to be in this event! YeeHaw!

For those of you taking "parachute" approach and flying in... I will have all bikes to Leadville by Thursday 8/13
For those of you going early, I'll be able to wrench for you I'd you have any issues & will get your bike Race Ready
For those of you that don't want to have to pack up your bike and fly it back to SoCal, I can provide 1 Way Transport

Well! Throw Back to July 2021 pic... the last time I transported Tri Bikes up to Ironman 70.3 Oregon! I've been asked to do this again... so would love to take as many tri-bikes as possible for the safe round trip! Please message me if you're interested! As of right now, I have room for 12 more bikes! Nothing better than a pro mechanic taking your bike up to bike check in, with a pre-check in tune up. Rack your bike... Chill, wake up, swim, transition 1 for your awesome bike leg through the beauty of Oregon, re-rack your bike and head out on your run. Meanwhile I go into T2 and grab your bags and bike and secure them in the van. Bike wipe down and transport back to SoCal! I ♥️ providing this concierge service! So... please let me know 🤠
