After a lot of thought, tears, and exploring every other option, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close Virginia Beach Yoga & Wellness.

When I opened the studio last summer, I didn’t know exactly what it would become. I just knew I wanted to create a small, welcoming place where people could come to practice yoga, move, breathe, make new friends, and feel comfortable being themselves.

And over the past year, that’s exactly what we created.

I am devastated to close this chapter, but I am also incredibly grateful for what we created while it was here. This little community has meant more to me than you will ever know.

Our final class will be tomorrow, Sunday, September 13 at 4:00pm — a 75-minute Candlelight Yin. I would love for you to join me for one last practice together. 🤍

Yoga was never really the whole point ♥️
If you’ve made it through these slides, you probably know a little more about me now than you did 2 minutes ago 😂

My life has taken me through dance studios, DJ booths, different cities, CrossFit gyms, motherhood, coaching and eventually… right here.
And looking back, the thing that connects it all isn’t just movement.

It’s people.

I’ve always loved bringing people together, creating connections and making sure nobody is left wondering where they fit.

That’s what I wanted Virginia Beach Yoga & Wellness to be.

Yes, we’re here to practice yoga. To move. To breathe. To get stronger. To slow down.

But more than anything, I want this to be a place where you walk through the doors and know:

You belong here.

Whether it’s your first class or your 200th, my promise is the same:

Nobody gets left behind.

That’s my why.

And yes, that includes YOU. ❤️

Studio ownership…

It’s not always about trying to fill classes, managing staff, and paying bills.

It’s putting your time and heart into the smallest of details. From cleaning the cubbies, to watering (nursing 😬) the plants (y’all, we have quite a bit 🌱), to keeping up with the signage, our time and hearts are in everything.

But just don’t look at the mirrors, ok? The smudges I missed are just character 💁🏽‍♀️😅

Deep cleaning and preparing for the fall over here and looking forward to seeing you all on your mats!
