In memory of Senior Chief William Ryan Owens.

“It’s been 4 years and not a day goes by without you in our hearts. We thank God you lived. For those of you who did not know Ryan, Ryan lived the exact life he dreamt of as a child, everything he did is because he loved it. His sense of duty and sacrifice came as naturally as breathing air. But, he was not only a great warrior who, literally, put hundreds of our nation’s enemy’s in the ground for our way of life to flourish, he led his entire life this way. He gave his all, all the time. He gave all of himself to his family, his children, his brothers and if you were lucky enough to be called friend, then you got all of him as well. You should ask yourself everyday, what have I done to earn the freedom provided by him and those damn few like him? Earn his sacrifice and make Ryan and those who still serve proud to serve a grateful nation.
