Students in Virginia Beach can get free meals Monday through Thursday each week until August 12 through the program "SUN Meals."

"No sign-up required, it’s just an open site, just come on in, ring our doorbell and we’ll feed you,” said Rachel Amato, the director of food services for VBCPS.

Virginia Beach isn’t the only city feeding kids. All school districts in our area are offering summer meal programs, although others may require a sign-up.

Celebrating & need a cake?

We are getting out the tea cups & sugar cubes to get ready to talk about what is proper & what is rude during a series of wars!

We had a blast as you can see with these kids here.

Don’t miss this fun & friendly challenge to teach manners, enjoy refreshments, dress up or in costume & be a part of the elite team that wins prizes at the end!

To get more information on upcoming dates please post city you favor & ages of kids as we organize the events. The room will be split by age groups & ages 6-9 will need to be accompanied by an adult to participate.

We will ask for a few adult volunteers to be mediators of our ***en & tables, to wave the peace flags & to help wash dishes☕️🤭🫖

Our 1st ones are being organized now in , & & are fundraisers for different organizations. We will post events for each here & on eventbrite & follow up with anyone that leaves a comment here.

I’m working on planning Etiquette Tea Party Wars with fun treats to go with it for pre-teens & teens. We did this a few years ago & they had a blast. This time I am planning it in Yorktown & thinking during spring break. 11-1pm.

Here's what you need: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, egg, milk, butter, strawberry, banana, powdered sugar, maple syrup

I helped host a fundraiser for a youth organization this past weekend. I’ve learned that dancing has helped improved lives physically & mentally for the teens throughout Hampton roads as well as the adults I teach. It helps build confidence, create friendships, lower anxiety, depression, builds muscle memory & so much more. These are also qualities & values shared & learned with this great organization.
