If you care about being strong, dependable, and dangerous in the right ways, your mental health is part of that job. Get your labs, tighten up your habits, check in on your boys, and if something’s been off for a while, handle it. That’s not soft. That’s responsible.

I have 3 important lessons to discuss.

1.) Don’t listen to anyone who tells you that you can’t maintain a high standard for how you look, feel, and perform as you get older. I’m 38 and wish I was at this level at 28 or even 18.

2.) Shorts are supposed to be short. If at any point the bottom of your shorts are closer to your knees than your hips, stop, you’re doing too much.

3.) Sun > Sunblock but, you will occasionally face the consequences if you live by this mantra.
