Our Summer Cardio Series is officially underway!

We kicked off Week 1 last night with heart-pumping cardio stations, plenty of energy, and a preview of the fun themes coming all summer long. Each week will bring a different challenge and a new way to get your heart rate up—from endurance and speed to power, agility, and everything in between.

As a special bonus, the group headed outdoors for a celebratory run in honor of Nancy’s birthday, followed by a live concert from Jeff that made for the perfect finish to an unforgettable evening.

If last night was any indication, this summer is going to be full of sweat, smiles, and strong finishes!

Virginia Beach temperatures are heating up, and staying hydrated is more important than ever. When the weather is hot and humid, your body loses fluids faster through sweat—even if you’re just spending time outdoors, exercising, or enjoying a day at the beach.

Hydration is important, and not just if you are working out. Drinking water throughout the day helps regulate body temperature, supports energy levels, and reduces the risk of heat-related illnesses like dehydration and heat exhaustion.

When you’re sweating it out at the gym, your body is losing fluids that help regulate temperature, support performance, and keep your energy levels up. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty—sip water before, during, and after your workout to stay ahead of dehydration.

Your fitness goals are important, but so is taking care of your body. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and keep crushing those workouts!

Any guesses which trainer these drinks belong to? And yes, they all belong to ONE trainer that did in fact drink them all.

Ever wonder what it’s like to be a trainer at Unify? Here’s a behind the scenes look at Lauren’s routine which includes:

▪️An early alarm.
▪️Studio lights on. Music up. Doors open. Getting everything ready for the day.
▪️Customized workouts for each client.
▪️A quick snack between clients.
▪️A lot of laughter and some dancing.
▪️Squeezing in a quick workout.
▪️Creeping on other trainers.
▪️Cleaning.

By the end of the day: thousands of steps, countless reps coached, lots of sweat, and a whole lot of fun.
