Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Races Allen Stone was a local Navy SEAL who died in a training accident in 1999. The race honors all SEALs who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation,VA Beach Rescue Squad & VB Lifesaving Association.

It is hard to believe that we lost Allen's big brother, Carl, 4 years ago today. Carl loved his brother and loved the race. He enjoyed being with family and friends on race weekend, talking about Allen and hearing so many stories. When Carl traveled, he often wore a race t-shirt with the photo of Allen on the back. He said that so many people would stop him and ask him if he knew Allen. When he told them he was Allen's brother, they would proceed to tell Carl a story about Allen. He loved that!

The weather is crazy outside so we decided to extend the price increase deadline. The price was set to go up at midnight tonight but now you have until February 3rd to register before the price goes up.

Registration is open for the 27th Annual Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Races. This year's race will be 7/25 at 31st Street Park. We look forward to honoring our Gold Star families and seeing everyone there!
