ABOUT TUNNEL TO TOWERS
The Tunnel to Towers (T2T) organization supports families of military veterans and first responders, (firefighters and police) who have been killed in the line of duty. They also support seriously handicapped military veterans who have been injured in the line of duty. Tunnel to Towers supports these families by either paying off the mortgage on the homes of the Gold Star families or building homes designed specifically for seriously handicapped veterans.
GOLD STAR FAMILY PROGRAM
The Gold Star Family Home Program, launched in September 2018, honors the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. The Foundation will provide a mortgage-free home to surviving spouses with young children.
OUR INITIAL GOAL
We would like to show our support by raising funds to pay off the mortgage for just one (1) Gold Star family. We have contacted the T2T organization and was told that there are approximately two hundred (200) families on their waiting list. The average amount needed to pay off one mortgage is approximately Two Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($200,000.00). Therefore, Two Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($200,000.00) will be our goal.
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
If you would like to participate in this worthwhile endeavor, there are many ways to participate I’ve listed just a few below.
Volunteer to help on the administrative committee;
Sponsor specific aspects of the tournament such as: tournament sponsor, food sponsor, drink sponsor, lunch sponsor, hole sponsor, team sponsor.
Make a monetary donation.
