Week 2 of the Outlaw Micro Showdown wrapped up at Kokomo Speedway, switching things up from last week’s Winged Micros to the always-demanding Non-Wing Micros. The change didn’t slow down Revved Up Racing, as both drivers continued to stack strong results and climb the standings.

Nick Ruffini kept his momentum rolling with another solid performance. Through two weeks, Nick has made the most of his opportunities with 2 starts, 1 win, and 2 top-five finishes. His consistency has him sitting 3rd in the Overall Season Standings and leading the way 1st in Division 4, putting him in prime position as the season continues.

Jacob Wilson stayed steady and fast once again, showing speed in both configurations. Over 4 starts, Jacob has captured 1 pole and finished top five in every race, building a strong foundation despite still chasing that first win. He currently sits 13th Overall while holding down 1st in Division 3, proving consistency pays off early in the championship hunt.

Two weeks down, both Revved Up Racing drivers are leading their divisions and firmly in the mix for the season-long battle. With speed, consistency, and momentum on our side, the Outlaw Micro Showdown is just heating up.

iRacing Chili Bowl Nationals Super Session Results

Jacob Wilson and Nick Ruffini took on the stacked iRacing Chili Bowl Nationals Super Session in Split 1 Saturday morning, facing one of the toughest fields of the week with 47 drivers battling it out on the virtual dirt.

Jacob Wilson would place 40th in qualifying, putting him deep in the order to start the night. In Heat 5, Jacob showed steady improvement, advancing from 8th to 6th by the checkered flag. That momentum carried into the C Main, where he started 5th and fought through a hard-charging field to finish 8th, just missing a transfer in a race that was tight from green to checker.

Nick Ruffini qualified 37th, lining up alongside equally stiff competition. In Heat 2, Nick gained a position, moving from 8th to 7th while keeping his nose clean in heavy traffic. He lined up 7th for the C Main and battled throughout the race, ultimately bringing it home in 9th after a demanding run on the slick surface.

Both drivers gained valuable experience in one of iRacing’s most intense marquee events, racing against top-level competition and handling the pressure that comes with Chili Bowl week. Solid efforts from both Jacob and Nick in a session where every position is hard-earned.

iRacing Chili Bowl Nationals Prelim Night 2 Results

Jacob came back for seconds Tuesday night at the virtual Tulsa Expo Center. It was a really solid run Jacob would improve to 20th out of 57 cars in qualifying tonight. After a 4th place start and finish in heat 2 Jacob would line up second for the B-main where the top 2 would advance to the feature. Jacob would briefly lead before settling into second being the last car to transfer to the 55-lap feature. Starting 20th Jacob would methodically work his way through the field to finish 6th in his first iRacing Chili Bowl Prelim Night Feature appearance.

Overall a solid night for Revved Up Racing at the virtual Tulsa Expo Center. It is prelim night #1 for the iRacing Chili Bowl Nationals held at the virtual Tulsa Expo Center. Points scored during the prelim nights this week will seed our drivers for the super sessions this weekend. Race recap:

Not the way we wanted to end our season last night with a DNF after engine issues late in the race. We had high hopes after practice the kart felt way better compared to our previous runs at Cotton’s Corner. It was still a great day for racing and we had a great time. Preparation for 2026 starts now. Stay tuned for Jacob’s 2026 karting schedule.
