We’re dedicated to promoting safe, enjoyable shooting sports & preserving outdoor traditions for all ages. Range Rules

Range Safety is our first and foremost responsibility. Range Rules must be followed for the safety of ourselves, other club members, and our neighbors. Shoot Smart – Shoot Safe

1. Always keep fi****ms pointed in safe direction.

2. All fi****ms must be unloaded and actions open

while people are downrange at the target backers. There shall be no loaded fi****ms behind the firing line.

3. All fi****ms must be in good working condition.

4. Anyone 17 years old or younger must be supervised by an adult.

5. NO shotgun patterning on the rifle or pistol Backstops. Use designated Shotgun backstops.

6. NO tracer ammunition without authorization.

7. NO glass targets.

8. All shooting will be conducted at targets on the target backers. Absolutely NO targets are to be set on the ground in front of a backstop or on top of the target backstops. Do NOT shoot at the target frame post.

9. NO fully automatic fi****ms allowed without authorization.

10. Clean up after yourself!!

11. All shooters must read all safety signs posted in each shooting shelter! As good safety practice, eye and ear protection is recommended. All range users should be familiar with general fi****ms safety. Good sportsmanship is the underlying foundation of this club. It is your DUTY to respect the privilege of using this facility. The Club’s money and the labor of members keep this range functional. Any person(s) found not obeying the range rules, vandalizing club property, or displaying obnoxious or dangerous behavior will be dealt with by the Board of Directors.

Viola Sportsman’s Club – Concealed Carry Permit Class

The Viola Sportsman’s Club will be hosting a Wisconsin Concealed Carry Permit Class on Saturday, April 11th at the club.

This course will be instructed by John Clark from Freedom Fi****ms and is open to both members and non-members.

🕘 Class Time:
9:00 AM – approximately 3:00 PM
(There will be a 30-minute lunch break on your own)

🥤 Snacks and drinks will be provided.

⚠️ Class size is limited — pre-registration is required.

💲 Class Cost:
• $110 – Viola Sportsman’s Club Members
• $130 – Non-Members

A big thank you to the volunteers who came out this morning to help with the club workday. With your help we were able to get a lot accomplished in just a few hours.

✅ Built new shelving in the newest conex container
✅ Organized and cleaned the education center
✅ Completed more work on the trap shack

The club runs on volunteers, and days like today make a big difference. Your time and effort help keep the facilities in great shape for our members, youth programs, and events throughout the year.

What a gorgeous day to do some shooting.

The weather was perfect yesterday. We had two young gentlemen come out for our Try It Before You Shoot session. It was great to see new shooters giving it a shot and enjoying the experience!

If you're not hunting, you can still join the fun!

🎟 Stop down to Liberty Bar around 3:00 PM for the raffles and prizes.
We’ve got meat bundles along with a few additional great prizes up for grabs.

It’s always a great time catching up with friends and seeing how the hunt went.
